Hitachi DASD Array's.

Hitachi have entered the RAID mainframe DASD marketplace with their 7700 series machines.

These are built around HDS's own drives, with individual sizes of 4Gb, 9Gb and their new 18Gb drives. Coupled with this, Cache of sizes of between  256Mb right up to 4Gb give sparkling performance.
